Blender's new hair system is finally out with version 3.3 and IMO is amazing! I set about redesigning my fanart project. The new styling and hair creation tools are now much more effective. Recreating this hairstyle for the character was much faster now. I like the snake hook tool the most, but you should also try the other tools that are available in Sculpt Mode.
